TikTok’s Owner Planning to Launch Music Streaming Service

Owner of Tik Tok, Beijing Byte Technology Co Ltd has planned to widen its circle of popularity by starting music streaming service. According to Reuters, they are involved in making deals with big music firms. Like Sony Music, Universal Music and Warner music. The deal includes authorizing global licensing, in order to add new tracks for its new music subscription service. A report suggests that Byte technology will be looking forward to releasing this app in one or two months. It will allow the users to stream music of any kind. In the starting phase, the company has planned to launch it in the emerging markets like South-East Asian countries, Brazil and India etc. In the latter phase, it will be launched in USA and UK. So that we could sync to songs and share it with others. Therefore, we can assume that there will be a slight touch of social media in the service too. Byte Technology has not labelled the app with any name yet. There is no information related to pricing as well. Though, it is expected that it won’t exceed from $10 a month. We have already witnessed a huge success of Tik Tok in a competitive social media environment. Therefore, we can expect the same amount of success from this upcoming app as well.
